—which is pronounced sharn (it’s Welsh, if that helps you cope?)—and I’m a versatile social media, community, et cetera specialist.
Two principles driving my career via roles in social media, content, and project/event management (e.g. cat herding). I’ve worked across countless industries (film festivals, marketing agencies, and even a renowned multi-sport games event) producing everything from social media campaigns and data management systems to art-based science experiments and medal ceremonies. I’ve collaborated on teams and led them; cultivated positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders; and wrangled actors, toddlers, and athletes (not all at the same time).
For the past decade I've help define brand voices, build loyalty, and engage audiences. And while I’m a creative at heart, my approach is all left-brain: systematic, organized, and colour-coded. This unique combination of skills and experience makes me a natural fit for social media, communications, customer advocacy, client relations, operations, and product/project management roles. In 2014 I founded The MUFF Society, an online community and screening series that championed women and underrepresented groups in film/TV.
And this one time I handed Daniel Radcliffe a Diet Coke and he said “thanks.”
